At Northey we are proud of our history. As a company founded on innovation we are constantly striving to improve our product and do more for our customers. We have recently moved to a new, larger facility which has allowed us to expand our in house testing and build facilities.
We have focused recently on Magnetic Drive technology, allowing us to build completely leak tight pumps. This stems from our work in the nuclear industry where we worked closely with British Nuclear Fuels to develop a canned motor pump for uranium enrichment. This successfull product spurred further research, and we can now provide our entire range in 10-7 mbar.lt.sec leak tight magnetic drive form, working closely with our German partners DST.
We have also developed, and successfully patented a Hook and Claw machine using graphite rotors. The extreme thermal stability and excellent resistance to corrosion of these opens avenues where current product simply will not function. Although still at the R&D stage, this is an exciting programme, and we look forward to offering it on our production machines too.
